STAFFWe are an experienced staff delivering real-world solutions to engage learners in multi-sensory experiences. A supportive service that takes pride in quality products and providing the highest level of customer service possible, we deliver responsive and honest communication. Director - R. Warren Flood, Ph.D. HISTORYOur service has been in existence for nearly 50 years. In 1962, Warren G. Weiler, State Supervisor of Vocational Agriculture with the Ohio State Department of Education, determined that vocational agriculture teachers needed an organized service to assist in curricular development and locating quality instructional materials. To meet this need the Curriculum Materials Service was formed during the same year with Harlan Ridenour as director. By 1969 nearly 100 items were being offered by our service with sales
exceeding 100,000 items per year. Our service continued to grow and
in 1990 our curricular emphasis became Agriscience. In 1991 our catalog
listed 831 instructional items, 249 of which were produced by our service. |
